After half-term, we will be learning about the life and habitats of penguins, and reading the stories of 365 Penguins by Jean-Luc Fromental and the movie Happy Feet.
In the Summer term, our topic theme is global gardens, and we will learn and write about animal and plant life in the African savannah through the story of The Lion King, and the habitats of the English countryside through The Wind in the Willows, by Kenneth Graham. We will plant flower seeds and bulbs and write about what plants needs to grow well. After half term, we will learn about the seaside, waste and recycling, persuading others in our writing to care for God’s creation.
